The lawyer representing four Christian converts who were each sentenced to ten years' imprisonment received a notice that the appeal hearing in their case would take place on October 4, 2017. It is not yet clear if the hearing went ahead and, if so, whether a ruling has since been issued.

The four men, Yousef Nadarkhani, Mohammadreza Omidi, Yasser Mossayebzadeh and Saheb Fadaie, were convicted in June 2017 of propagating house churches and promoting ‘Zionist Christianity’ and were given excessive sentences.

Since they were taking communion at the time of their arrest on May 13, 2016, Yasser, Saheb and Mohammadreza were in a separate court case charged with consumption of alcohol. On September 10, 2016 they were sentenced to 80 lashes each. Their appeal against this sentence still remains outstanding.

Please pray for justice for these men, and strength for them and their families.

WOmen Being Equipped For Evangelism In Iran

Sara* has a heart for evangelism. So during 2017 we hosted her for two-weeks of intensive discipleship and training outside Iran.

Upon returning home, Sara immediately began distributing Scriptures. Inside each copy she slips a note explaining a way to get in touch securely with a trained Christian leader via social media.

Already people are coming to Christ through her ministry and being discipled digitally by mature leaders.

Although evangelism is risky in Iran, many believers are bravely finding ways to share the Gospel with others.

We are committed to continuing to train and encourage evangelists like Sara. And we are determined never to leave those on the frontline without the Scriptures.

Thank you for your support which allows us to stand with Sara and many others.

Please join us in praying for:
  • Those who have come to faith through Sara’s ministry
  • God’s blessing on all evangelists bravely serving the Lord in Iran and the wider region
  • Nearly 100 Iranians who will receive two weeks' of discipleship training before the end of 2017, equipping many others like Sara to be evangelists.
Grace and peace,
David Yeghnazar
Executive Director

P.S. If you would like to help train more evangelists like Sara, and provide them with the resources they need for ministry, it costs $1000 on average to provide two weeks' of residential training for one evangelist from inside Iran.

Jesus is SEEN in Kenya!

We all know it is the duty of Christians to come out of their comfort zone and to attempt to make Christ known by spreading the gospel among unreached people. And I’m sure there is a greater need of understanding now of the relationship between God’s sovereignty and human responsibility in the work of evangelism and missions.

For this reason us a ministry Youngsters for Christ team we are committed in disciple making among unreached people as well as mobilizing local churches and believers to make disciple through the trainings in discipleship, with the aim of full filling the call of the great commission Matt 28:19-20 Go ye into the world in the faith and in trusting the lord we have remained focused and committed to see all are reached with the Gospels of the lord of Jesus Christ. We trust the lord to continue to encourage and establishing “Christ centered churches among communities /villages.”

With different outreach programs such as Kids feeding, Ladies Sanitary (Pad), Schools and home cells bible groups. Jesus Films evangelism tool has been good in helping us reach so many in supporting the local churches also in helping to plant new churches in the villages in either cold or in rainy sessions because it’s able to bring so many people together and in few minutes we always end up having more than three hundred in one village and by the end of the show, over 50 respond to the invitation to accept Christ Jesus Christ.

With few local churches starting to get involved with outreaches missions in the villages, markets places and other nearby destinations which is a good thing and as a ministry we encourage it to continue and supporting this local pastors/churches . But perhaps it is not the whole story? Can we truly say we are ‘making the disciples of all nations if there are still millions of people who have no opportunity to hear the gospel?

Over thousands of people in different communities and villages, there are many with limited access of this good new the GOSPLE OF JESUS and it takes more than a day or even some time a week to be effective in reaching people groups that have many natural barriers to the gospel. Barriers of infrastructure, religion, location and much more.

150 Children Accept The Gospel!

There is nothing more enjoyable than to see many youth gathering at a life-changing, God-focused event. TransformAsia had the honor to host Youth Camp 2017 lead by Church On The Ridge (COTR) from Seattle, Washington with assistance by Harvest Fellowship of Brighton, Colorado. After long and careful planning, there were 248 junior and high school students registered for this camp. From the four regions of Cambodia the students came from all over. Our core group leaders (pastors), along with our administrative staff led by Mrs. Chanthoeun Puth, did a superb job coordinating the new venues in Siem Riep for this event along with all the logistics involved with something this big. This is our first time to hold the youth camp in this historical and tourist area of Cambodia. A special thanks to Scott and Judy Price for their assistance in arranging meetings at a playground for our morning activities.

"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him," (John 3:17) was this year's theme. Many youth in Cambodia have trouble with the concept of "identity". Just like youth around the world, they need to know the truth about their identity in God's eyes. We prayerfully selected the scriptures from the Holy Bible with the help of our core group pastors, along with the teams from Church On The Ridge and the Harvest Fellowship, God used all of us to bring the message of hope and salvation to 248 kids day-in and day-out starting from  August 23rd to 26th. Their hearts had been prepared, their souls were seeking salvation, their minds were focused and the message was ready to meet those needs at the last evening of the event (Friday, August 25th).

During the invitation about 150 kids came forward to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior!  When asked who wanted to be baptized, 111 students raised their hands! Though when the day came, Saturday August 26th, only 48 went into the water to be baptized (which is still amazing news!). We give all the praise and all of the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for using us to represent Him during this very special occasion.

Thank you so much for your prayers and your support to make this year youth camp a blessed one. A special thanks once again to COTR and Harvest Fellowship for being willing to be used to share Christ to the youth of Cambodia and TransformAsia.

The Church of Nagpur grows

Greetings from Nagpur in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your love, prayer and support. By the grace of  God AFAO is growing and more people are experiencing our Lord Jesus amidst of different types of troubles which we can’t explain through the letters.

The monthly report we get from each mission field it is clear that they are suffering a lot from anti-social elements. We have lost our freedom and every missionary is a target. However, we continue experiencing one thing,

“God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” 1cor.-10; 13

Our co worker Prakash sing sent this testimony from Utter Pradesh state:

"A new family came to Lord in village Rainabad. Sister Somvathi is from that family. She is 30 years old and her family is a Hindu family that worships idols. We soon found out that Sister Somavathi was completely under the control of an evil spirit.

She was shown to different people and doctors, but nobody could heal her. Our co-worker Pastor Prakash was having a house church in the same village. Somavathi’s family heard that Lord Jesus is heal, so they had tried every other way.

Finally the family brought her for prayer, and during the prayer she started yelling and became unconscious.

The pastor prayed for her again and she became conscious. She was told Lord Jesus healed her. She believed and thanked Jesus. Somavathi and the family started telling the village people that Jesus is the true Lord. Now the whole family comes to church regularly.

Thank and praise God ."

Our co workers have no source of income except the monthly support we send for them. Our position is very weak, unable to support them regularly. Please do as HOLY SPIRIT leads you.

In HIS vineyard,

Mary & Satyajit
