There is nothing more enjoyable than to see many youth gathering at a life-changing, God-focused event. TransformAsia had the honor to host Youth Camp 2017 lead by Church On The Ridge (COTR) from Seattle, Washington with assistance by Harvest Fellowship of Brighton, Colorado. After long and careful planning, there were 248 junior and high school students registered for this camp. From the four regions of Cambodia the students came from all over. Our core group leaders (pastors), along with our administrative staff led by Mrs. Chanthoeun Puth, did a superb job coordinating the new venues in Siem Riep for this event along with all the logistics involved with something this big. This is our first time to hold the youth camp in this historical and tourist area of Cambodia. A special thanks to Scott and Judy Price for their assistance in arranging meetings at a playground for our morning activities.
"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him," (John 3:17) was this year's theme. Many youth in Cambodia have trouble with the concept of "identity". Just like youth around the world, they need to know the truth about their identity in God's eyes. We prayerfully selected the scriptures from the Holy Bible with the help of our core group pastors, along with the teams from Church On The Ridge and the Harvest Fellowship, God used all of us to bring the message of hope and salvation to 248 kids day-in and day-out starting from August 23rd to 26th. Their hearts had been prepared, their souls were seeking salvation, their minds were focused and the message was ready to meet those needs at the last evening of the event (Friday, August 25th).
During the invitation about 150 kids came forward to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior! When asked who wanted to be baptized, 111 students raised their hands! Though when the day came, Saturday August 26th, only 48 went into the water to be baptized (which is still amazing news!). We give all the praise and all of the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for using us to represent Him during this very special occasion.
Thank you so much for your prayers and your support to make this year youth camp a blessed one. A special thanks once again to COTR and Harvest Fellowship for being willing to be used to share Christ to the youth of Cambodia and TransformAsia.

PS: Please pray for funds to be able to restore our old Korean made 1 ton truck which we use at our Kambour feeding Center. We need $800. This funding will get us 6 all-new tires, repairs to the steering wheel, and wheel-bearing etc.
