Besides preaching, teaching, and pastoring a couple of churches, Florin felt compassion for a little town with no believers. He felt sorry for the little poor people, spiritually, physically and materially as he observed everyone was just trying to survive for another day, for another year, hopeless with no future ahead of them. Most of them lived under the poverty level in Romania, and a lots of them struggling with sickness and all kinds of diseases.
Florin and Jeanina, started to pray and seek the Lord as they saw the poor people fading away into the eternal darkness. After a short while, love, compassion and hope started to fill their hearts and they started to evangelize and personally pray for the people they met. They practically helped with whatever they could, to make their lives a little better. Primarily they touched the children and teenagers who flocked like sheep around them to be protected for the simple fact, because someone was there to care, hug and love them. No-one before spent the time to talk, share and play with them, and become part of their lives. The couple got down to their lower level of living and carrying them from the valley of death up to the mountain of light of the Son of God. This summer, a couple dozen kids from Secu town attended the summer camps. All of them were truly blessed with the fullness of life, saved, healed, each one of them has a great story to share but there is no time and space to tell them all here and now. Pastor Florin in simple faith bought a piece of land by the main street, then after a while the Lord provided a little fund just to lay the church foundation. After the foundation faith seed was planted, the needed money to go on was there to continue on building. Pastor Florin just sent me some pictures as they advanced with the church building project. While leading the volunteer workers he builds along with them. He takes the hardest jobs, and in the process has learned to be more of a professional builder. Pastor’s hands are working as his mouth talks about God’s love. God makes miracles for his household and for all the people who love Him. A few unsaved men and women were evangelized and prayed for, right there on the job site while they were taken the time to volunteer alongside with the new believers. Now they are in the process of installing the heating system for the building, and the church still needs the final fund for to finish. He continues to believe God who will finish what He started. What I would present this time to you is the Pastor's need of a monthly support. There has been no monthly support for a long time, and usually they do not have other monthly income. They survive with a small garden and several chickens, however, they make good use of what they have, and the Lord provides here and there. About $300 a month will be a great reliable blessing for this wonderful family who is faithful to our Lord. If you can't give all of it, consider giving what you can towards the goal. Please consider it as a divine circle of blessing going from one to the other. Starting with you and Florin’s support that is going to other people around them. They in turn will be saved and blessed. This blessing comes back to you. We have here with us from the states Bishop Harley Fiddler and Pastor John Helton from Ohio. We’re in a wonderful time of church planting, it is always good to have international ministers with us, the southern unreached groups of people are a lot more attracted to come and hear an international minister than a Romanian pastor.
They are curious to see and learn that the Gospel of Jesus is valid for all the people living on the earth and not just a single Christian sect started in Romania that is called Pentecostal or Baptist. I mean many of these people may have never heard the salvation message but just a glimpse about the orthodox Christian religion, these regions in Romania are ignorant. Christ's Commission for Romania is doing amazing works, and has an awesome story with very humble beginnings. Founder John Dolinschi, who will be at the A4TW Mission Conference in October, sends us the following updates. The Life CenterAt the Life Center we have 48 young men and women who are all following the Lord Jesus. All of them made a commitment to serve the Lord their protector.
The Life Center provides a home for the teenagers and young men and women. Room and board, and all the other utilities are provided! We have sport rooms, bodybuilding, and different competitive city sports like soccer, volley, tennis and others. We offer counseling sessions, and classes where they are taught music, trained on different musical instruments, and singing. Once a week chapel service and some Bible classes are required. Most of these youth practice preaching and teaching to the poor communities and churches. I will praise the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips!
Let’s each day do it intentionally and purposefully and then watch the change on our perspective and purpose of life! Praising and praying daily is the walk path of our lives and when these are activated by the word of God it becomes Kingdom life here while on the earth! With this third letter of the year I felt led to make you aware of how to pray and praise God for us in Romania. This including all of you who are spiritually and financially part of the Romania team, though you may have never visited Romania. Let’s not worry about the world of good and bad news events as God’s word says that we should first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the other things will be added and come to pass as being heavenly scheduled! First, I write to you a prayer list for the ministry outreach plans for this year, so it may serve as a reminder to you to reach us by prayer and giving. This way we’ll be a team. First I trust on God but secondly I’m relying on special people, a team that I’m working with. I will try to make it very simple so it may be easily remembered... |
