I receive a phone call at around 11:00 this morning from Sammy Njiru, Director of Youngsters for Christ (YFC) in Nairobi, Kenya.
He began to tell the poor state in which both he, and the ministry are currently in.

Emergency Rescue
Pastor Sammy serves more than 18 schools in Nairobi and Kibera, and visits around 5 schools a day for outreach and discipleship. In order to do this, he walks over 34 miles a day sometimes.
He told me that the last month has been a rainy season, and he has developed a Malarian Infection which has put him on medication. This is heartbreaking for him as he seeks to continue his youth discipleship which has been multiplying enormously through their, "Each One, Teach One," ministry.
"To be very honest with you," Sammy told me, "we are broke."
The YFC has not been received the finances need to sustain all of their efforts including, youth outreach, feeding programs, and sanitary rags for impoverished women.
We as a family at A4TW have still yet to see anyone pick them up for monthly support. I speak with Sammy frequently and am always impressed with his heart and passion. We have also had people from the states visit and validate their work. They are asking for prayers and an emergency financial rescue.
