Christmas Shoe Project fulfilled:
With great love and joy I report to you about the Christmas shoes project. We were greatly blessed and filled with love as we saw and heard the joyful noises coming from these little precious children.
The children mostly were those from the South and East of Romania. Like before we distributed to the poorest regions of Romania, Oltenia and Baragan regions. Our key pastors who helped and led the shoe distribution were: Pastor Costel Gramada, Gigel Ignat, Relu Paraluta, Milo Novacovici, Dumitru Lazar and Costel Prisacaru from the Life Center, Timisoara. A lot more pastors were involved this year.
We were well organized first with a list of the poorest families, next the age and the shoe sizes of each kid in the family. We purchase shoes from a prime store warehouse and then got them out to the needy.
Our pastors were blessed to see parents tears of joy flowing out of their eyes, and this mixes with laughing. The kids making a show for their parents and to one another marching with their shoes on the feet, proud of how nice and great they look.
Approaching the winter season the poor parents developed a custom to teach and tell kids to pray and trust God for their expensive shoes. Even those who don’t know a lot about Jesus or have not yet decided to follow Him ,bring their needs before God.
There is no greater joy then when the precious kids and their parents see their prayer being heard and fulfilled. Moreover, some of the unsaved decide to get right with the Lord dedicating their lives to him.

Irina Jancu the 28 year old mother shares:
though I’m married, I do have a husband mostly on paper, for most of the time I live as a single mother. I work here-and-there at whatever I can find. I’m trying my best to survive. My hard work is done with great love, hoping to make a better life for my little kids, Emanuel five, and Claudiu four. About a year ago they were attending kindergarten. I looked for extra money for winter shoes as their light summer shoes were worn out. Their father works away from our home, traveling to find jobs in or out of the country. Most of his wage are spent on himself, he often comes home with empty hands.
He is caught in a careless life and alcoholism, but the good mother fights the good fight for her kids and loves to keep their little home clean and in good shape. A couple of years ago Pastor Romulus of Valea Lui Patru church decided to reach out to this poor family though they haven’t become part of the church yet. We as a church are reaching to many other broken families like this one because Jesus taught us to love our poor neighbor as well regardless if they are saved or not. How else will they know the love of Jesus and be saved.
When Irina saw the shoes for her kids she cried and humbly said, I can’t believe this good thing really happened to my little kids. They will be able to go to school. They were really unhappy to be drawn out of the kindergarten. A month ago when the weather changed to cold, I decided that each night before going to bed to lead my kids in a prayer to God, and told them to pray to the same God of the pastor who built up a little church in our village. And I told my kids that the pastors told me that our heavenly Father hears all our prayers, and if it is so He may decide to send us some good shoes. Now our fervent prayer were answered, already my sweet kids are encouraged to pray and trust our heavenly Father on their own, because this is the only Father we have here in this little home.

Samuel Iancu 14, This young teen shares with us his sad story and speaks in the name of the whole family.
We are eight boys in our big family and I’m the oldest among them, and this year I’ll graduate from the general school. As long as I can remember shoes are a big challenge in our family. You see we have a lot of small kids who are needing clothes and we eat lots of food and I do understand my parents are doing their very best for us. From what I hear around we live in a very poor region of Romania, and jobs are hard to find and pay is low. Our soil here is hilly and sandy and our gardens are not producing a lot of vegetables. When I grow up I plan to move away to a large city and a better part of Romania.
I had the only one pair of rubber shoes, and when it rained, my feet were soaked. Cold day my feet were colder than outside. My parents promised me to buy me another pair of shoes, but I know they were saying the same thing to the younger kids, I knew that we may not get these very soon. However, we do have a faithful mom who teaches us about God and sings with us Bible songs, she encouraged me to start to pray to God to get a good pair of shoes that will last longer than I had so far. PTL! Her faith on teaching me and my obedience in prayer brought fruit and now I have the best pair of shoes I ever remember. Now my feet will be warm not only on rainy days but in the snow.
Thanks to those in America who gave. Our pastor said that our brothers from America care for the brothers in Romania, because we’re like a large family that part of it is poor and part of it is richer. I do pray to Jesus to make you even richer and your profits go up!

I’m Daniela Iancu age 32, mother of 4 kids.
We are church member of Philadelphia church in the county of Dolj, Oltenia region. I’m so happy Jesus saved me, and today my kids and I know Jesus the strength and the comfort of our lives. My husband is not saved yet, he works away from the country and has lots of evil habits, like smoking, drinking, and commits adultery with other women. He calls me very seldom, and he complains that he has not been paid or he lost his job so he doesn’t have money to send us.
In the late summer, I managed to buy some light shoes for the kids, but they would not work in the colder winter season. My children are attending the public school and were teased by the other kids about wearing summer shoes. Even the teachers told them to beg their parents for warmer winter shoes or they will be reported to the child protection office. So besides suffering cold feet they being bullied. Now, I praise Jesus for His goodness, my schooling kids received warmer winter shoes and everyone in the home is happy. I pray continually that their father may be saved and return into the family, so these kids may be raised by a father too.

Life Center, Timisoara is reaching out with Christmas shoe and other needed aid.
This story is of the Ceranutean family who have 15 kid. The family lives in the poor village of Covaci, Timis. The children age are between nineteen years and a four month old baby. The mother is a Christian believer but the father is not saved yet. He is a hard construction worker, but also a heavy drinker who spends part of his money drinking. The mother is a house wife and a good mother raising well her kids. She is very careful spending money, but often she still comes short of buying food, clothing and shoes. Life Center helps here and there with food, snacks for the kids, clothing and shoes, this time the food taken to them was given with winter shoes for the kids.
This is just one testimony of a family we highlighted here but there are dozens of other families who are assisted. Sometime they may just need medicine and vitamins for their sick kids, home cleaning , dish wash, laundry or bathing the kids.

CCFR helps rebuild, repair shabby broken homes:
The Lord blessed Marian and Elvira Sambea with 10 children. Presently mother is in the hospital to investigate a couple of throat nodules, the father works wherever he finds jobs. He is a very diligent hard worker, working all day long for little wages. They also have a home and garden. Marian is on the ministry leadership team at church.
They lived in a very old two bedroom home which is considered dangerous and unstable. A couple of years ago they started to rebuild but ran out of money so were forced to stop. The Spirit spoke to a wonderful Romania family named Costel and Anica Enache. A miracle happened and the material to build were provided and the church people volunteer their time to fix and enlarge the family home.
Brother Marian received the news with great excitement, saying, I don’t know how to express my joy, when pastor Relu told me that you got the money to buy the building materials I just thought he tests my faith and this is not real, so I was speechless not knowing what to believe. But when pastor asked me to go with him to a building warehouse store and I saw a tractor wagon waiting I was even more shocked by God’s loving favor for my family.
Before leaving to go for the material purchase the whole family got together and in tears of joy thanked God for His mercy and love shown to them, and that their prayers were answered.
Marian and Elvira were blessed to know that that Enache family without known them was sent out to help them in a marvelous unexpected way. Praise to our Lord and thanks to the precious people who are accomplish a great thing in the lives of other people!
I will share more stories in our next news letter.
Thanks for making these things come true my brothers as the word of God says: For the ministry of this service is not supplying only the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God. Through the proof of this service, they will glorify God for your obedience to the confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and others. 2 Corinthians 9:12-13.
Thanks and looking forward to hear from you,
John & Viorica Dolinschi
