Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I write this letter with a grateful heart that God our Lord sustained us this far with the help of your support, prayer, and encouragement. Samjee left us five years ago on first of February. He left the responsibility of running AFAO to me, and I've done it wholeheartedly, and with full dedication. Samjee is happy as the work increased considerably and so did the number of workers. We could do it only because of you. YOU are the back bone of AFAO, YOU are the one who stood with us all these years. I use this opportunity to thank you all sincerely. I expect you all be with AFAO and the abandoned kids whom we take care of for many years to come.
The aim of AFAO is to preach the gospel to the unreached areas, especially among the down trodden people group. Now the situation has been changing and is difficult than before due to political reasons. Still our co-workers conduct meetings and prayers in their own homes as most of them don’t have a separate place for worship, but the Holy Spirit leads the prayer and work amongst them by doing miracles and healing the sick. The neighbors’ are attracted by miracles and more people come for the meetings and the work continues. But many people go back to their old faith after some time due to fear of people and the administration.
The Just shall live by faith -Rom: 1- 17
At present we are facing different types of problems from the government in regards to our orphanage. Please pray for our strength to face the problems that come from the enemy, for God to increase our faith, all the financial matters, and for our good health.
Even in the midst of the problems, we walk forward looking at our Almighty.
